Yes it was indeed – that kinda day! The 29th March 2021, the day the lockdown started to ease. The kind of day which generates optimism and a frisson of spiritual bliss!
So… the lockdown has changed slightly today (Monday 29th March 2021) and we were able to travel a short distance to a local walk I love. Around Snettisham, the ‘Shanty Town’ on the beach, North Norfolk Coastal Path, RSPB Nature Reserve Snettisham, Life Wood, Ingoldisthorpe and Snettisham Commons and Lodge Hill Plantation … what’s not to like!
The weather was fine, blue skies and a strong, mild breeze from the southwest made for a wonderful hike of 8+ miles through beautiful Norfolk coastal scenery.
What’s more… returning to our beautiful garden and sitting in the sunshine with a beer… THAT kinda Day!
