The amazing November weather just keeps on giving.

We timed this walk perfectly to arrive on the last leg of the journey – along the coastal path, as the sun was setting. Mild, calm and sunny (again!!). We are so lucky to be able to grab these opportunities – I know there will be dull wet days but then I can retreat to my wood carving 🙂

This route can be started in Holme (we usually park by The White Horse) or in Thornham. There are a few good pubs here but the one we chose for this hike was The Orange Tree… a more than suitable start and end to a beautiful country walk!

we parked in Church Street which is the road adjacent to the pub (and the church :-o). I chose to follow the route in an anti clockwise direction so that we traversed the beautiful coast section, from Holme beach to Thornham, as the daylight faded… it was amazing (see photos). All in all a fantastic short country walk for any time of the year.
